I love Lani Lynn Vale's books you she always keeps it pretty real and this book is no different the emotions feel real and when Dante and Cobie fall into each other's paths it leaves you feeling raw, emotional and hopeful all in one go.
Dante's lost everything his wife and kids all died in a car crash, he's had a little girl dumped on his doorstep with a promise to look after this little bundle and Cobie, little does he know that Cobie has her own problems in the way of cancer but he keeps his promise to help her through it all she's to special to lose her battle to cancer.
He goes above and beyond to protect Cobie he's not looking for love but for some reason he's pulled in by her and he has a special need to help and fix her and she loves his little girl and Mary needs a mum in her life they have a bond that can't be broken despite everything and nobody will come between the 3 of them.
So I can honestly say this is an amazing story and it'll definitely stay with me it just seems to trigger something deep inside of you. It's a great story that needs to be read for itself.
