Release Blitz - Je Suis a toi (Monsters in the Dark #4)

“Life taught me an eternal love will demand the worst sacrifices. A transcendent love will split your soul, cleaving you into pieces. A love this strong doesn’t grant you sweetness—it grants you pain. And in that pain is the greatest pleasure of all.”

Order Je Suis A Toi by Pepper Winters HERE:

Q made me the happiest esclave in the world. He gave me his heart, his empire, his ruthless unforgiving love. And life finally left us in peace.

A man like my maƮtre has special needs though, growing stronger as our lives intertwine. The only way to survive his monster is to agree to all his desires.

Including his latest wish.

I’m his.

And I won’t refuse.

Nikki's 5 Star Review

OMG!!!! More Q and Tess this just totally made my year.
Pepper Winters is fabulous at writing dark and gritty stories and although we still see the dark side of Tess and Qs relationship we also see Q try and rein in the monster he is inside in order to get the one thing he wants from Tess. If he can open up and let Tess in there isn't anything she won't do for him.
I just love how the chemistry between these two characters just oozes through and that even after everything that Tess has endured over the years she's still the strong willed character we've come to love and the only one that can match Q at his worst.

These books need to be read in order and now's the perfect time to start you definitely won't be disappointed.

 Excerpt
“Don’t struggle. You know I’ll keep you safe.” Q’s murmur danced down my back.
My panic receded as trust billowed fast and true.
Q was born into darkness, but he’d never baptized me in his blackest desires. And because of that, I could implicitly say he spoke the truth. No matter what he did to me, he would never truly harm me.
Q paused, his tattooed chest soaking. His feathered sparrows fluffing off droplets almost alive on his skin. “I told you once never to fall for me. That I didn’t want the curse of breaking your heart while I broke so many other pieces of you.” His hands landed on my breasts, cupping them reverently. “Yet you fought me, just like you said you would. You fell for me, just like you promised me you would. And now, you’re willing to give me what I need even after I tricked you and lied.”
I swayed as I fell even deeper for this complex husband of mine. Q was all my fantasies in one glorious lifetime. The fact he finally wanted to share me with his child spoke volumes about his capacity to love.
“I’m so glad you ignored me, esclave.” His fingertips branded my nipples with pain. “So fucking happy you married me.” Pushing me backward, he smiled harshly as my spine met the pool wall. His chest strained as he sucked in a heavy breath. “You’re so fucking beautiful.”
My heart hammered in my ears as he kissed me.
His tongue laced with mine, and I sank into the sweet embrace, knowing it would be the last I received tonight. The air crackled with an impending storm. Q’s control frayed every second, his eyes drenching in determination and the salacious need to hurt.
Breaking the kiss, he opened his hand, revealing the other item he’d retrieved.
A tiny pair of silver scissors.

5 Stars
I'm a massive fan of Jessica Prince and I have to say this is my favourite book of hers so far. We first got a glimpse of Chloe and Derrick in Wildflower  and I was really intrigued by them and where their relationship would go, I definitely wasn't disappointed it's a beautiful, sweet story that you definitely don't want to miss.
Chloe owns a bakery and can be a little down on herself at times about the way she looks. She's had a crush on the new deputy in town Derrick for the last year and a half, when she finally plucks up the courage to ask him out on a date lets just say that things don't go to plan and she's left heartbroken.
Derrick has just gone through a divorce with the ex wife from hell and the only thing that really matters to him now is their nine year old daughter Eliza. He's determined he's never going the whole relationship thing again and although he likes Chloe he thinks she deserves someone that can give her everything she wants out of life including commitment and a family of her own and he feels that's just not him. But will his feelings change as he really gets to know Chloe and sees the way she is with his daughter before its to late.

I was dreaming. I had to be. There was no other logical explanation for what was happening to me.
And it was the Best. Dream. Ever.
Something pulled me from the deepest recesses of sleep, and as I blinked my eyes open to the sight of the darkened room, my sleep-addled brain was still too drowsy to figure out what had woken me. As I stared out of the French doors, nothing but black blanketing the forest ahead, my whole body tensed at the realization that the tingles I’d been feeling thanks to the erotic dream I had of Derrick weren’t abating.
Then I realized why.
“Derrick?” I asked on a gasp as his large hand spanned against my belly, pushing me further back into him.
“Shh,” he whispered in my ear, just before pulling the lobe between his teeth and biting down.
“What are you d-doing?” My voice broke as a shudder worked its way up my throat.
“What I’ve been dying to do for what feels like forever,” was his bewildering answer. I didn’t understand what was happening. We were supposed to be friends. Just friends. Yet, for the past few days he’d been acting like he wanted more from me. I couldn’t wrap my head around what was going on.
When the hell had he started wanting me? Until a few days ago I had no idea he’d even noticed I was a woman.
“I don’t…” I breathed as his tongue left a trail across my tingling flesh. “I don’t think—”
“Don’t think,” he rumbled. “Just feel, baby. Christ, you undo me.” He bit down on the tendon that ran from my neck down to my shoulder.
I moaned as the sting of pain sparked into something that made my blood run hot and my stomach clench. As he rained open-mouth kisses from ear to shoulder and back again, my hips involuntarily rocked back, pressing against the hardness of his erection. He groaned against my skin and I shivered as he continued his toe-curling assault. I’d never had a man pay such attention to that particular spot on my body, and it was driving me mad. It was as though every single nerve ending in my body was located right there. What he was doing to me made it impossible to control the needy sounds that fell from my lips. I was so turned on that rationality had flown out the window. There wasn’t tomorrow or the repercussions it could hold, there was only here… only now.
His voice was gravelly as he said, “So fucking sweet,” against my shoulder before biting down again.
“Mmm, Derrick.” I rolled my hips, pressing harder against his cock, desperate for something, some friction to help ease the pressure building between my thighs.
With a low, rumbling growl, one hand twisted into my hair, pulling my head back so hard my scalp stung, while the other snaked from my stomach to my breast and squeezed. I loved it. All of it. I went mindless with pleasure, nothing mattered but what Derrick was doing and how it made me feel. I couldn’t think, I could barely breathe the craving was so intoxicating.
“Oh God.” I rocked and rocked and rocked my hips back as he let go of my breast just long enough to reach under my t-shirt and palm it without any barrier.
“Love how you light up for me,” he moaned, thrusting his hips forward. “Are you wet, sunshine?”
“Derrick,” I whimpered as his hold on my hair enabled him to twist my head any which way he wanted so he could continue to feast on my skin. “I need…”
“What, baby?” Another bite from him, another groan from me. God, it was like he was ravenous for me. “What do you need?”
“More,” was all I was able to get out.
In a blink, I was on my back, my top whipped over my head as Derrick loomed above me, his hips forcing my thighs apart as he settled himself between them. His mouth claimed mine in a brutal, dominating kiss.
“Mmm, Chloe.” His moan vibrated through his chest and into mine as he trailed kisses along my jaw. “What are you doing to me?”
“I-I don’t know,” I panted, fisting his hair as my back arched beneath him, pressing my breasts into his firm, solid chest.
He slid against me, his rigid length pushing against where I needed it the most. At the pressure of his cock grinding against my core, my head fell back against the pillow, a low, guttural sound coming from deep within my throat.
“You drive me fucking crazy,” he murmured as his lips moved lower and lower. “I can’t get you out of my head, no matter how hard I try.”
His tongue flicked my straining nipple, shooting pulsing waves of pleasure to my center, making me even wetter, more desperate. With each lash of his tongue, my body writhed against his, searching for something to send me over the edge, into the abyss.
“Oh, God. Don’t stop doing that.” I let out a cry when his mouth pulled away.
He moved back up my body, his lips close to my ear when he whispered, “Tell me you want me inside you.” My mouth opened to follow his command only to get stuck in my throat. He let out a pained moan as his hips undulated against me. “Say it.”

Release Blitz - Instead of You by Anie Michaels

Title: Instead of You
Author: Anie Michaels
Genre: New Adult/Contemporary Romance
Student/Teacher Romance Novel
Release Date: May 24, 2016
Two brothers.
Cory was my best friend, the boy who I’d resolved to spend my entire life with. I’d grown to love him, gotten used to the idea of our life together, even if it wasn’t the all-encompassing, soul-crushing, heart-shattering romance it appeared to be.
Hayes was the boy who seemed entirely out of reach. Untouchable. He stole my first kiss, a secret I’d hidden away in the recesses of my heart, protecting the memory and hoping it would be enough to last me a lifetime. When he became my history teacher, it was impossible to hide from him any longer.
There was no way to anticipate just how important both Wallace brothers would become to me, how deeply they would change my life, or how the loss of one would propel me into the arms of the other.

“Look,” I pinched the bridge of my nose, trying to form a rational sentence. “What I’m saying is…” then I was struck by pure brilliance, “…I should screen every single likely candidate so I can run a full background check for any felonies or Class A misdemeanors.”
Ignoring my perfectly reasonable suggestion, Chloe spoke up, “And the next time you want to pick up a woman at the Moose and take her home for a roll in the hay, I’ll expect you to call me first so I can come down and administer a blood test, you know,” she smiled sweetly, even though I could see the evil behind it, “for safety reasons.”
“That’s not the same thing,” I argued.
“Oh, I’ve got to hear this,” Harlow laughed. “And why, exactly, is it different for you than it is for Chloe?”
“Because I’m a man,” I answered instantly, regretting the words that came out of my mouth as soon as they passed my lips. “Wait! No — that’s not what I meant to say. What I meant is — I’m bigger. I’ve got more muscles. I can defend myself if need be.”
“I’ll have you know, I’ve been taking weekly self-defense classes for the past four years. I’m more than capable of defending myself.”
And because I was clearly on a roll with all the stupid, I laughed. “Pfft, not likely. You’re a pixie for Christ’s sake.”
I barely got the last word out when I was suddenly choking on my own tongue, unable to take a proper breath as the kitchen floor came at my face at a startling pace only to be stopped by the force of something slamming into my chest, deflating both my lungs and sending me careening backward.
I gasped for air as I writhed on the floor in pain. “What—” I wheezed. “What just—” I sucked in a breath, getting nowhere near enough oxygen in my collapsed lungs, “happened?”
“You just got your ass handed to you by a girl!” Noah hooted before collapsing in a fit of uncontrollable laughter. “Oh God! You should have…” he stopped to wipe a tear from his eye, “…you should have seen your face! Classic! That was classic! Chloe, do it again so I can record it this time.”
As I lay on the kitchen floor, dying, I cursed Noah Murphy. I had no friends.
