A shocking murder.

A suspicious son.

A dedicated detective.

In Azalea, Mississippi, the only thing hotter than the summer days are the men of the King family. When the patriarch Randall King is found dead, Detective Arabella Matthews will race the clock to stop the killer from striking again. Benton, the eldest of the King siblings, has to decide if he wants to cooperate with the feisty detective or conduct his own investigation. The more he finds out about his father—and the closer he gets to Arabella—the more he wants to keep her safe. But the killer has different plans . . .

Amy's 5 Star Review
I can start by say that I've never really read a book like this one you feel like you're involved in a murder mystery case which I thoroughly enjoyed there's alot of action and mystery surrounding a little town called  Azalea and your left wondering who the next victim will be! It also keeps the lightness between the detectives who can still find time to enjoy themselves and laugh at each other.
The story focuses mainly on Arabella and Benton's relationship after Benton's dad's murder pushes them to work together to solve his murder and builds a strong foundation for their relationship. He's not a guy  Arabella would have ever looked twice at she's from the poor streets living with her disabled mum and super cute daughter, he's a King who has every thing the business the money, cars and the looks.
Their are so many different characters to this book but it works well, it's very much a rollercoaster of events but it's a true page turner.
I finished it in one sitting and I'm pleased to say Celia Aaron gripped me again with one of her books.
