I totally lost myself in this book. It was a heartbreaking but bittersweet story.
For Liberty everyone she has ever been close to has left and she doesn't open her heart easily. She has a new job and Alexander Caldwell's secretary and to begin with she thinks he's an arrogant jerk but when tragedy strikes she starts to see him in a whole new light. Alexander has a past with Liberty and her family even if Liberty may not know that yet. He's a guy that always gets what he wants and is willing to play dirty to get it. As secrets and lies start to unravel where will it leave Liberty, Alexander and their relationship?
This is my first read by Eva Winners but it definitely will not be my last.

A great read by Amelia Wilde i enjoyed Poseidon and Ashley even though they have a strange and twisted relationship, you feel that Poseidon is somewhat playing Ashley until her life is under threat then I think his true feelings for her start coming into play.
A very intense read with a ruthless male lead character and a great sexy storyline although I didn't read book 1 in the series I still enjoyed A Deal With The Devil.

A super cute and swoon-worthy in every sense this is definitely worth reading as part of a standalone or series.
K. Bromberg definitely worked her magic on this book.

This review is a little difficult to write as I have some many conflicting feelings about this book. So firstly let me say I did enjoy Charlotte and Dalton's story but I didn't love it. I had no issues up until around 70% in but then it just felt a little disjointed and rushed 🙈 (so sorry)
When Charlotte found her life in danger Dalton was give the job as her bodyguard. Both developed feelings for each other but Charlotte kept her distance thinking that due to her past she would bring Dalton nothing but heartache. Can Dalton break down the walls around Charlotte's heart and show her that her past doesn't define her and will they finally get their hea.
Jessica Prince is one of my go to authors and as I said I enjoyed Playing for Keeps and I'm really hoping that there is more to come.
His eyes were still dancing with humor when he finally got a hold of himself and looked back down at me. “What’s so funny?”
“The fact you thought you had to convince me you weren’t perfect,” he said, a chuckle still shaking his chest. “Believe me, Thumbelina, I’m well aware of the fact you aren’t perfect.”

I squirmed in his arms until he was forced to let me go, and took a step back, planting my hands on my hips while shooting fire from my eyes. “First off, I do not have shit taste in music.”
“Babe, every one of your playlists is like bein’ trapped at the g***** Lilith Fair with no escape.”
“Second,” I continued, ignoring his dig, “I’m not messy. I know exactly where everything is.”
His brows climbed high on his forehead as he looked around my apartment to the piles of clothes and shoes strewn about.
“I got really tired after finishing my laundry,” I defended snappily.
