Josh 'Steel' Caplin just wanted somewhere to belong, for a short time he thought that was fighting at the Underground, that was until one night after a fight he's just left broken and bloodied on the street outside the Emergency Room.
Dr Holly Walsh is starting a new life in Melbourne, she left New York after a disastrous relationship and finding love is the last thing on her mind until she comes across Josh Caplin.
Are they just what each other needs or will their issues with trust and secrets tear them apart before they have even begun.
Another great read from Amity Cross the Beat and Pulse Series is one of my favourites and I love the fact we are meeting all these new characters aswell as seeing much loved characters from former books and thanks to Amity's writing style we just seem to get pulled into their stories.
