Jenn's Review

This book is one of those that pulled me in from the very start and kept me reading all night long.  I loved all of the humor, suspense, steamy scenes, and total hotness that this book had to offer.  I mean come on, who can pass up a whole ranch full of badass Doms and their hot Dom friends!!!

 

Jenna Parnelle and Jackson Ramsey have a long history between them and they finally spent one super hot night together before he sent her away.  Of course Jenna doesn’t know the real reason that Jackson sent her away after that night a year ago so she has avoided him ever since then.  Well, now that her best friend is marrying Jackson’s brother she can’t keep her distance anymore.  When these two get together things are definitely gonna heat up!!!!   

I really loved the interaction between all of the characters in this book.  The author gives the reader to get to know all of the Ramsey brothers and several of their co-workers who are close friends.  There were several moments that had me laughing during this story and even more moments that had my kindle steaming with the heat from these amazing characters.  Mardi Maxwell has created an amazing series with these brothers and I can’t wait to see who’s story is gonna be next!!!  I give this one 5 stars!!!!



I’m an avid reader of romance, especially erotic romance, so it just made sense for me to write what I love to read. I began writing short stories in high school but it wasn’t until college that I discovered how much I truly enjoy the writing process—researching an idea, creating an imaginary setting, populating it with characters and then telling their story.

Like most people, life keeps me busy, but I write every day. If I’m not writing, I’m reading or plotting my next book, or the next scene in the book I’m working on. The romances I enjoy the most have laughter, tears, hot lovers who overcome obstacles to be together, scorching-hot sex scenes, and happy endings. The only book I’ll read where one of the main characters dies is a vampire novel where they get to come back for an eternal happy ending.

When I’m not writing I enjoy gardening (unsuccessfully but persistently), spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and dreaming about my next book.
