Ice Burn was a great sports romance novel and the start of a new series Lakeside U and here we meet Dayna who tragically lost her hockey obsessed brother and went away to university to to help take her mind off the grief but now she's back home and with her new boyfriend she's happy to be home but she realises that she used her relationship as a distraction and he isn't the guy she wants or needs.
Aiden Dumfries the cocky hockey player with a temper arrives in Dupont Beach to get some downtime with Coach Calton (Dayna's brother friend) and he's enamoured with the beauty of Dupont Beach and Dayna and he's finding it hard not to fall for her but these two characters really do find solice in each other.
I loved the beauty of this book it had the perfect amount of grief and love within it! I really enjoy L. A Cotton's books.

A great start to this new sports romance series from L.A Cotton where we meet the guys and girls of Lakeside U. This is Aiden and Dayna's story.
Four years ago Dayna left home to attend university, she was also running from her grief after the tragic death of her brother. It's now time to come home and she brings her boyfriend Josh with her but it soon becomes clear they want different things in life.
Aiden is a great hockey player but he has an attitude and a temper. He's in Dupont Beach to get himself together before the new season starts. When he meets Dayna he definitely doesn't make a great first impression but things soon change and the sexual chemistry starts to build. Could they be just what each other need.
I really enjoyed getting to know Aiden and Dayna and I look forward to the next in this series.
