One of my favourites from Gina Azzi. The Defender was such a sad story but was beautifully written and full of swoon worthy moments and love.
James is a defender for the Boston Hawks after losing his wife he's now also a single dad to twins, Milly and Mason. He's definitely not looking to start a new relationship but when he goes for drinks one night with his team mates and meets Bella she stirs up feelings in him he thought were long gone.
Bella is lost, she's gone through so much over the last few years and at times finds it difficult to cope but when she meets James there is just something about him. She also has no idea he's about to become her new boss.
Could James and Bella be what each other need to heal.
A fabulous story that I found difficult to put down.
