It was great to finally get Beckham's book in My Cruel Lover after reading little snippets in the two previous book in The Wicked Poison Series and watching the heartbreak he dealt with it's understandable as to why he is so closed off and still going through grief.
Jacinta has slowly gained a family through her ex August but that woman has been through more than anyone should ever have to endure but she's a stronger person for it and that's down to her son Oliver and her new job role as Beckham's secretary, yes he's ruthless and cruel to her and takes what he wants from Jacinta but my goodness these to burn for each other and Beckham needs to realise what he has before he's one cruel word away from losing her.
A fantastic gritty, sexy enemies-to-lovers book. T.L Smith did I fantastic job of writing Beckham and Jacinta's story.
