A fantastic F/F book and number four in the Fog City Series and despite not reading the previous books it didn't take away how good Queens Ransom is (I'll play catch-up soon with the 3 previous books).

Family rifts are a huge concept for this book which keeps the attraction at bay for Helen and Celia but these are two very strong women in completely different ways but their story is explosive and you can expect bullets to fly, blood to be shed but Celia and Helena are pulled together when danger lurks and it's all in a days work for a criminal organisation.

A gritty, sexy and sinful story. I know not reading the previous books that I'm missing some of the plot line but I hope to read about the previous characters at some point but Layla Reynes wrote an amazing book.
