Ryder is the second book in the Merrick Brothers series. I knew from the glimpses we got of Ryder in his brothers book, Knox that his story would be a complete rollercoaster of emotions and I was correct. This book literally ripped my heart to shreds it wasn't the story I was expecting but it definitely didn't disappoint.
When Ryder and Kailey first met at a music festival Kailey had no idea the Ryder was a very famous Country Music star they spent the night together but the next morning Kailey woke up alone. Now she's back at one of his concerts and they need to talk how will their lives and possible relationship pan out when truths are set free.
A beautifully written heartbreaking story that I just couldn't put down. This is definitely one of my favourite reads for 2020

I really enjoyed Ryder's story which is book 2 in the Merrick Brothers Series and Ryder who is a Country music star who lives to play his guitar and sing to his fans but he's 30 now and being on the road is slowly taking its toll on him.
I absolutely love Kailey she has morals and believes in them wholeheartedly so when she meets a guy during a storm at a festival for one night her morals disappear Ryder's a hot guy and they have an instant connection between them both.
After one of the best days and night of her life she's left disappointed when Ryder breaks his promise so armed with her new degree she aims to find a job and forget about Ryder only she can't when she learns she's pregnant.
Now two months later she's at one of Ryder's concerts to give him the news, that he's going to be a Daddy but she doesn't need him she just wants to do the right thing by informing Ryder.
I loved how Ryder stepped up after learning the news that he will be a father and he wants to get to know Kailey better and this entails lots of fun, laughter and happiness, I'm so glad they found their flappy ending. Thankyou Prescott Lane for such a fantastic story.

Prescott Lane is the USA TODAY best-selling author of ALL MY LIFE. She's written several other romance books with strong heroines and swoon-worthy heroes. She is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, and holds a degree in sociology and an MSW from Tulane University. She married her college sweetheart, and they currently live in New Orleans with their two children and two crazy dogs.
