A great story by J Sterling. Behind the Plate is book 2 in the Boys of Baseball ⚾️ series and is Chance and Danika's story.
For Chance everything in his life revolves around playing college baseball and making it into the big league, but to do that he must also get an education and maths definitely isn't his strong point. So when its decided he needs a tutor he meets Danika.
Danika is a maths genius and has agreed to tutor Chance, she not big on the whole sexy athlete type.
As friendship grows Danika makes a decision about her life leaving her and Chance free to pursue more but with Chance about to be drafted where will it leave them.
For fans of J Sterling this book is a long time coming. Chance is Jack and Cassie's son from the Carter series, all grown up. Those books do not have to be read to enjoy Behind the Plate but I can highly recommend them. I'm really looking forward to Mac's story next.
