Renegades was another fantastic twister story but we can't expect anything less from the Badlands Series it's still a dominating storyline with an amazing plotline.
When Star is held captive after running away from an arranged marriage she finds herself in the Badlands, she's wary of others and they don't trust until she tells them who or what she is running from. My favourite is the slow-burn between her and Lucifeuge and the spark is intense between the two.
A great book a little confusing to start, I thought it would be Star and Cam but I'm glad she's found her king.
You can still expect this book to hold the general torture, murder and usual mischief all the Badlands books have held, another great and fascinating Natalie Bennett book.
