I loved this slow burn, forbidden romance from Leigh Lennon. It messed with my emotions but I was hooked immediately.
When Holland loses her husband whilst he's serving his country she finds herself all alone and moving cross country to live with her father in law.
Maguire has lost his son and his son's last wish was that Maguire would always take care of Holland but as Holland and Maguire spend time together feelings start to develop. A relationship between them may not be seen as the norm but will they find the strength to face up to their feelings before it's to late.
A great 5 star read for me and that ending has definitely left me desperate for more.
Leigh Lennon is a mother, veteran and a wife of a cancer survivor. Originally with a degree in education, she started writing as an outlet that has led to a deep passion. She lugs her computer with her as she crafts her next story. Her imaginary friends become real on her pages as she creates a world for them. She loves pretty nails, spikey hair and large earrings.
