Have you ever met someone who makes you want to just say to hell with reason and you just want to throw caution to the wind and go with your feelings?  Well that is exactly how Dahlia feels the moment she looks across the club and lays eyes on River Wilde.  He makes her pulse race, her body tingle, and all she can think about is what it would be like to be with him.  But Dahlia already has a boyfriend, Ben, and she would never betray him.  So she runs from River and the things he makes her feel before she can go against her better judgment and act on those feelings.  Now, years later, River and Dahlia are crossing paths again and those sparks are still flying between the two of them.  River has never forgotten the girl who ran away from him that night so many years ago, and this time he does not intend to let her get away again.  Will the passion between these two be enough to hold them together or is love a once in a lifetime kind of thing?

This book was so amazing.  I am now a Kim Karr fan for life after reading this!!!  I loved the amount of emotion that Kim Karr packed into this story.  There was love, loss, heartbreak, hot sex, mystery, intrigue, this book had EVERYTHING!!!!!  The ending of this one left me saying WHAT THE FUCK and had me running to get the next book!   I have GOT to find out what happens with River and Dahlia!  I give this book 5 stars and can’t wait to read more!

Reading this book was like riding a roller coaster at Six Flags.  There were so many ups and downs and twists and turns that I could not predict what was going to happen from one moment to the next.  This book picked up right where Connected left off and continued on with the amazing story of River and Dahlia, however there is a surprise character that shows back up in this story.  Now if you are reading this book then I am assuming that you have already read Connected so I hope no one considers it a spoiler when I mention this next person.   I have to say that I REALLY hated Ben in this book.  He was so conniving and at times I just wanted to reach through my Kindle and slap the shit out of him.  Now I understand that he had been through a lot but there comes a time where you have to just man up and move on.  I will say that I was happy to see the way that Dahlia and River grew as people in this book.  Some of my favorite parts of this book were the songs that River would write and sing especially for Dahlia that was so sweet and romantic.  I am really looking forward to seeing what Kim Karr has in store for us next in this amazing series.  I give this book 5 stars and will be impatiently waiting for my next fix from this series.
