Benson Bexley has a heart of stone.
Apparently, nothing changes.
When he returns home after a decade gone, I recognize him right away.
How could I forget him?
He’s the same cocky flirt who slid dirty poetry to me in art class.
With the same stone-cold stare that shields his soul from the world.
And that same sharp-edged jaw that cuts straight through a heart like a dagger.
Fortunately, I see right through his arrogant charm.
Even better, he doesn’t remember who I am.
And I have no intention of reminding him.
After all, it’s only a matter of time until his nomadic life takes him away again.
When he relentlessly pursues me, I devise an evil plan.
Play along with his dirty, poetic charm.
And then give him a taste of his own medicine.
Revenge.
It’s not in my nature.
But Benson Bexley deserves nothing less.
It’s time for that heart of stone to shatter.

Amy's 4 Star Review
I really enjoyed Heart of Stone and I'm so glad we're back in Camp Bexley and here we have Benson and Brooklyn childhood sweethearts but when Benson struggles with the death of his mother so after graduation, he decides to leave town leaving the girl he loved in the wind leaving Brooklyn devastated and truly hurt.
Years later Benson to come home when his younger brother is in a bad accident he takes the role of helping with his recovery but whilst he's home isn't comfortable so he signs up to join an art-school he meets a gorgeous woman but neither realise who's who and to say Brooklyn is hurt is an understanding and that's where she tells him he has a heart of stone but can she possibly forgive him for leaving her.
A slow-burn romantic book with so much heartache but the chemistry is amazing between the characters it's another great addition to this series by K.K Allen.
