Oh my what a brilliant conclusion to Nix and Birdie's story. Both books in this duet have had me on an emotional rollercoaster throughout but it's been worth everyone.

As Birdie and Nix navigate what comes next they each have to overcome their pasts to be able to see their future. With everything they have stacked against them it's not going to be easy. Both Nix and Birdie may be broken in there own way but there love for each other is fierce and not easily broken.

L.A Cotton has given us a fantastic duet with some fabulous characters that I hope we will be seeing mote of in the very near future.

These Dead Promises was a fantastic conclusion to the Darling High Duet and it picks up exactly where These Dirty Lies ended for Nix and Harleigh.

Nix and Birdie (Harleigh) relationship was never going to be easy and they've been through so much together and still have alot to work through.

This was always going to be a powerful and emotional read but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger is the perfect way to describe there lives.

I'm so happy that this will carry on with Zane and Celeste it's always great to have these extra characters and I can't wait to know their story.
L.A Cotton has penned a great duet I've loved and cried for Nix and Birdie.
