Oh my what a fantastic start to this new duet from L.A. Cotton. This book definitely gave me all the feels, Nix and Birdie had a fabulous chemistry and I loved getting to know the secondary characters too.

Nix and Birdie have been best friends forever they both wanted to be so much more but never really got the chance.
One minute Birdie was there the next she was living a different life after been forced to live with her father. Now months later she's back in Nix's life and when secrets and lies are revealed could this be their second chance.

This is book one of the duet, I'm desperately awaiting book two. This story had me from the very first page and I had to read in one sitting. I'm also hoping for a Zane and Celeste story too.

These Dirty Lies is a book that truly keeps you captivated with so much history between Nix and Birdie the heartache between the two is insurmountable both from the wrong side of the track when one fatal night pulls them apart and now bonds are broken and lines are drawn.

Nix is a fiercely strong character especially when it comes to protecting the women in his life but living in The Row is brutal and he sees no way out especially without Birdie by his side.

Birdie for me is broken from the death of her mom and now having to live with a father she's never known and his ready made family but she doesn't fit in Celeste is her only blessing right now!

Can her and Nix find away back to each other?

Will lies be uncovered?

A fantastic angsty, gritty, dark storyline by the fantastic L.A Cotton I loved the first book in The Darling Hills Duet I can't wait for book two and the conclusion to Nix and Birdie's story.
