I'm a new reader to Emery Jacobs but I thoroughly enjoyed Chasing Fire.
Chloe comes from a political family, and her parents think they can have a say in her life but that's where they are wrong she's definitely one to stand up for herself especially when told who she will marry.
Colton is a single dad to the very adorable Gemma, she's his world even though he despises her mother. When he discovers a drunken Chloe on his porch he's definitely not the friendliest he could be but soon enough fate seems to keep throwing them together and there's an even bigger surprise to come.
A great story and I will definitely be reading more in the future.

Emery grew up in Southern Arkansas and has lived most of her adult life in Northern Louisiana. She spends her days working as a Nurse Practitioner in rural health and her nights reading, writing, and occasionally sleeping.
