Meet April Canavan


I live on chaos and coffee, and you’ll find it running through every single one of my stories.  

First of all, I absolutely abhor writing anything biographical. In any form. I’m terrible at it, and I have the very firm belief that no one wants to know who I am. You’re here for books, right? But that doesn’t mean I’m off the hook.

 

I grew up sneaking over to my great grandmother’s to read her Harlequin novels. Those were delivered once a month in a ginormous box, and from the age of ten, she let me devour them in their entirety. I fell in love with romance, even the clean kind. And that, undoubtedly, led to many days and nights with my face buried in a book and the discovery that I wasn’t happy unless my hair was up, and I had a story in my hand. 

 

I never wanted to write. I wanted to read. ALL the words. Until someone pointed out to me that I’d been writing my entire life. I just needed to put the book in my hand down and pick up a pen. 

 

Once I started, I found out that I couldn’t stop. Now, I’m always writing. Or reading. Or chasing my son through the house to get the elusive hug he thinks I don’t need.

 

Oh, and I’m a Leo… which is completely on-point if you know me at all. I love being the center of attention. On my terms. When I can stay at home in my pajamas. With lots and lots of coffee on hand. And maybe a few snacks.

Amy's 5 Star Review
Hero was an addictively dark, dangerous and slightly disturbing book all of which I love from an M.C book.
Godrick for me has a huge ego and it makes it one of his main strengths and gives him a fearless streak also his backstory gave is a big insight of what shaped him to become the man he is today.

Monet is wonderfully strong and resilient character she's been cheated on, lied to and is now paying off a debt to Godrick's awful uncle but it just gives her more strength to get out of the hole she's stuck in.
Meeting Godrick on a dark night she knows he's dangerous but the attraction is instant but how much can she the hot but scary biker in front of her.

This is a very hot and intense attraction I loved this the whole storyline and dynamic. Hero definitely kept me gripped! I loved M.N Forgy's new book in the Seven Knights Tale Series it was absolutely awesome.

King Of Corium was a fantastic bully romance set in Corium University it feeds off criminals and power, in the middle of nowhere you couldn't run even if you wanted to.

Quinton is a very broody and egotistical character he has a vicious mean streak if you cross him and Aspen's family have done exactly that in the past and he intends to make her life hell whilst she's there.

It's impossible not to love Aspen she's strong, intelligent and hard headed yet she's vulnerable at times especially when Quinton does his best to humiliate her as much as possible.

I loved how dark, toxic and twisted this book is and I love seeing an alpha drop his guard for one person he knows he shouldn't! This is a fantastic book and I'm always taken aback by how J.L Beck and C. Hallman don't hold back with their books.

My favourite book of this series so far, I loved Coco and Roman. These two characters were just what the other needed to open up their hearts to true love.

Roman is a single dad to a very adorable four year old. Since his divorce the last thing on his mind is starting a new relationship his little boy and his work are all he needs.

Coco has always felt like she didn't fit in where her family are concerned and she's very independent, needs only to rely on herself but she needs a date for her sisters wedding, enter Roman, and a no strings attached contract. Sparks soon start to fly for Coco and Roman and when Coco meet Roman's little boy both steal her heart but can they keep it.

A wonderfully written story from Laura Pavlov and I'm excited to read Ivy's story next.

Knox didn't take it well and for a while he went off the rails, partying and hooking up with girls but now a year and a half later Willa is back in his life with a secret and she wants nothing to do with Knox with good reason. I really enjoyed Unknown, Willa and Knox were perfect for each other and Andi Burns' writing style draw me in immediately. I cannot wait to read more.
