Finally we have Booth and Dillan's story and oh my goodness did I love it! We know from previous books that they have some tension between them but being the dad to Asa (Dillan's twin sister had a baby with Booth) and Auntie it's unavoidable not to cross paths with each other, it isn't until Booth gets shot at on a SWAT call that Dillan needs to know he's ok with her own eyes and oh boy is this the part where they admit their feelings and boy is the chemistry amazing with them both.
Booth's finally happy he's got the girl he craves but they have some many bumps in their path and the truth about his and Delanie's one night stand comes to fruition and it's Dillan's best friend Kerrie who is at fault and now he doesn't want Dillan and Booth together and things become dangerous.
Can Booth save his girl?

I loved the KPD SWAT Team books by Lani Lynn Vale and number 6 was just as amazing as the previous SWAT books.
