This is probably one of the hardest books I've read but that's purely for my own personal issues but I love how she has worked with the KPD officers who have all fought in a war and have come home injured or even maimed and each story as been amazing and If You Say So is gut-wrenching for Luca as much as it is for Frankie.
Losing your soulmate who is MIA or feared dead is devastating the never knowing is heartbreaking, Frankie can't move forward she's lost her whole world.
Malakai/Luca has no memory and scars built upon scars he's given a job and a home but everything feels wrong he's living in the shadows so nobody comments on the scars that have been inflicted upon him and he's just existing.
Frankie is the one that pulls some emotion from him he's drawn to her but doesn't understand why! And the same goes for Frankie there's just something about him that seems familiar.
It's a devastatingly beautiful story and pulls at all your emotions and I wouldn't expect anything less from a Lani Lynn Vale book she writes some amazing books and touches on something that genuinely happens to war veterans I've loved every word written in If You Say So.
