I'm a new reader to Mckenna James and I will say that this book did take me a few chapters to get into but then holy moly what a rollercoaster of emotions it sent me on. I found myself getting so mad at the way Sebastian and his adviser treated Alison at times but then on the other hand I could also see it from his side. Once I got into the story I just couldn't put it down.
When Sebastian and Alison first met it had to be very very discrete due to the politics of their countries and the fact that Sebastian was a Prince. It was a whirlwind romance that left Alison with so much more than she bargained for. How will it all pan out when Sebastian learns the truth is there really any chance that they could be together.
A fab story from Mckenna James and I will definitely be reading more in the future.
