Johnny's Ex-military after being retired through injury and June's past is tarnished by bad parents and reputation and not many townsfolk like her for this reason.
I love how Johnny comes into June's life when he's on patrol and serves her 3 driving tickets and June still thinks he's hot after that! But what gets Johnny is when he bumps into June working behind her friends dad's bar and sees how she struggles with physical contact so when she's out of her depth and has a panic attack it's Johnny who comes to her rescue.
These two are just absolutely made for each other and even when his ex comes back into their lives to destroy it they still hold on to each other.
It's fun, sexy and a funny read and one I'll remember for along time, I'm always honoured to receive an advanced copy and review it and The Simple man Series is amazing.
