That's why I need to speed this story up and tell him everything, so we can flip to the end of the book, and him and his daughter can move on to the next story. One where they get a happily ever after. Because there’s no story I’m a part of that ends in any way but tragedy.

So I probably say this everytime I read a book from Nikki Ash but Clinched which is Tristin's story is by far my favourite. It's brilliantly written, fun, emotional and sexy.
Tristin is a single dad to an adorable 5 year old Lexi, she's his world but one day he's hoping to find that special love to share his life with. When Charlie walks into his life there's an instant spark but she's hiding from her past. Tristin works hard get her to open up to him and when secrets and lies are revealed will Charlie finally be able to let go of the guilt she's carrying around and get the love and life she longs for.
A great read that I highly recommend. This book can most definitely be read as a standalone, but to get the full effect of these great characters I would start at the very beginning with the Fighting Series!!

I found Clinched so devastatingly beautiful from Charlie who's been so broken down from an awful abusive marriage, to Tristan who loves way to hard and never recieved it back until he became a single daddy to the most beautiful little girl Lexi who fills his world with joy, he feels content with just having her, but when he walks in to a bar and sees Charlie he can she how broken she is just by looking at her and he knows he needs to fix whatever has broken her she's too sweet to have that look in her eyes.
It takes Tristan alot of time and effort to get Charle to break down her walls but he can also see how amazing she connects with Lexi and that in itself is huge for Tristan.
It's not easy for an abused women to give herself to another man but the effort this guy goes to just to make her feel comfortable around him is paramount to this story, oh and I absolutely love his best friend Mason ;) who pops up alot in this book.
It's a fabulous story and I love a single dad read and Nikki Ash did an amazing job I highly recommend reading it.
