This is Tia Lewis' debut novel. Draw Play is a college sports romance and although it has great potential it did feel a little rushed towards the end. There was great banter between Claire and Jake they are both perfect for each other.
Jake is a football jock his life revolves around the sport and partying but his grades are starting to slip so his coach gives him an umtimatum either he has a tutor or he risks losing his place on the team.
Claire hates football players but she needs a job to fulfil her scholarship requirements and the only thing available is as Jakes tutor.
Sparks fly, Claire makes Jake feel things he's never felt before and she also helps him believe in his academic ability too. Is there a chance of happiness or will an overheard conversation change everything?
