Teaching Aleck is book 2 in The Last Hangman Series and I have to say it's my favourite so far. Aleck as been with the MC for a few years and has feelings for Charline for a majority of this time, although he hasn't admitted it to anyone including himself, thanks to his messed up family life and a family tragedy he feels he can never love anyone and also never be loved back. Charline is young and shy but knows exactly what she wants and what she wants is Aleck, but after been rejected by him on more than one occasion is it time for her to finally move on and get on with her life. Years later when Charline and Aleck come face to face again will all their old feelings for each other still be there and as they are both carrying secrets from their past once they finally talk to each other will they be able to work past them.
Absolutely loved this story even though it was heartbreaking in places and had me reaching for the tissues its also hot in places too with lots of twists to keep you hooked. A fab 5 star read and I can't wait to read Gabe's story next.
