My name is Nollaig, it’s the Irish word for Christmas. I hate my name. My parents loved Christmas and that’s why they gave me such a festive name, together with the fact that I was born on Christmas Day.

However, my parents are no longer with us after dying in a car accident on Christmas Eve, five years ago.

Now I hate Christmas all together.

I always hated the fact that everyone got presents on my birthday. Now my parents are gone and ever since then I just don’t feel like celebrating Christmas. Everything about this holiday gives me sad memories.

I need a miracle to happen over the Christmas holiday to make me change my mind about Christmas.

Who knew that a quick shopping trip would provide me with the miracle that I so desperately needed?

A mere ten minutes later, Bren found herself firmly wrapped in those arms of his, straddling his waist as he made himself quite at home on her leather sofa. Dropping another quick kiss to his waiting lips, she felt his hands slide under her blouse, his fingers finding the shallow indentation of her lower spine and stroking her sensitive skin gently.
Moaning as Matteo’s arms tightened around her waist and pulled her closer, Bren’s eyelids fluttered as she arched against his warm touch.  Biting her lip, she felt Matt’s devious lips smiling devilishly against her neck as his magic fingers skated up her toned sides, stopping only when he reached the satiny fabric barrier of her bra. “Oh, God,” she gasped as he leaned forward, dropping a slow, wet kiss to the center of her neck, her pulse pounding against his tongue. Tracing a slow, agonizing pattern up her neck and ending at her ear, Bren shivered as he slowly drew her earlobe between his lips.
Matteo grinned as he felt a shudder claim her aroused body, and he couldn't resist pushing her just a little bit farther. "So tell me, Brenna,” he whispered sensually against her flesh, his warm breath fanning her neck and pulling another quiver from her small body.  “Are you still thinking about keeping me out of your bed tonight, love?"
Sinking her teeth into her lower lip as she shifted in the cradle of his lap, Bren’s hand fisted in Matteo’s shirt, her nails digging into the soft material as her other hand desperately tried to unfasten the infuriating buttons she just knew had to be there somewhere.  “Now, Matt,” she said breathlessly, “I think we’ve proven that this couch is more than sufficient for our needs, don’t you?”
“Which needs would we be talking about, babe?" Matteo asked on a growl as he dropped his hand back to her waist.  Trailing one blunt fingertip up her side until he cupped the warm weight of her satin-covered breast in his hand, he rubbed his lips against the thrumming pulse in her neck as he murmured, "Maybe this need right here?"

Dilyn is a journalist and is tasked with the job of interviewing sexy snowboarder Dash Grainger over the Christmas holidays. Due to things in her past this isn't her favourite time of years but could Dash be about to change all that?
For Dash Grainger snowboarding is his life he loves the high the sport gives him. He's a ladies man and not one to do the whole relationship thing but could Dilyn be the one to show him there is more to life than just snowboarding?

AUTHOR BIO

Writing came relatively late in life for KL after a challenge by a friend led to The Everything Trilogy. She loves creating new characters and story lines. KL has worked in the health and social care sector for most of her adult life, so to have the opportunity to step out of serious roles and create colourful characters is very rewarding. She enjoys where they take her and each character has his or her own voice. KL doesn't use prepared outlines for her stories, preferring the characters to take their own direction as the story progresses. These days KL lives in the Yorkshire countryside in the UK where she writes full time.

Nikki Ash's debut novel was such a great read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It has a good strong story line and great characters that I really enjoyed getting to know.  I'm a massive fan of mma fighter stories so this was right up my street.

Liz has just graduated high school and is spending the week in Miami with her best friend celebrating, on a night out she meets Cooper after spending the next 30 hrs with each other in a lust fulfilled state they have to part.

Five years later Liz's best friend Kayla drags her along to a MMA fight and who should be in the ring, but Cooper. To say they are shocked to see each other again is an understatement but neither one has ever forgotten the other. They reconnect but how will Cooper react when he discovers that Liz wasn't the only one he left behind that morning in Miami. Cooper maybe a professional fighter but he has the biggest fight of his life ahead of him now as he fights for a second chance to win back Liz's heart.

One day while looking for a certain book I was interested in reading I found I couldn't find it. A friend told me to write and I thought she was crazy but decided to give it a try. 80,000 words later and I can officially add writing to my love list.
